One year ago today!

It's difficult to believe it's been a year already that we were in Seattle!  We were on our way back a year ago today.  We drove all night and most of the next day, reaching the Little Big Horn in Wyoming.  We spent Wednesday night in Rapids City, SD and drove straight through until we reached Seymour, Indiana late Thursday .  Here are some highlights...

Space Needle in Seattle.

North side of Seattle on I-5, looking south toward downtown.

Sunrise in Montana.

This was at a rest stop in Montana.

The 200 plus soldiers' bones were buried here. Custer was buried at West Point.

Memorial for the horses Custer had killed so they could be used as shields.

Devil's Tower - remember Close Encounters of a Third Kind?

Crazy Horse Monument near Mt Rushmore.

Reflections of Mt Rushmore

Flag at half-staff for fallen South Dakota soldier killed that day in Afghanistan.

Halfway thru South Dakota where Dances with Wolves was filmed.

Fort used in Dances with Wolves.

Part of the 1880s town, really the back side of a gas station!

Hey Joy... looks like you got to see a 'little bit' of blue skies when visiting Seattle! How long did that last ;)

I enjoyed all the pictures of your trip back home. The horse monument reminded me of that play on broadway, Joey. So sad.

Thanks for joining the party this week! Did you know that you can also join Outdoor Wednesday @ Southern Dreamer?

I just did... I shared my road trip up the hill to Joshua Tree National Park. I also shared a FABULOUS video!
