Back in 1997, my hubby and I were living out in Seattle, well, just north in Lynnwood. I had to come home to Indiana (family matters) and drove by myself (scary, at times), just had my puppy Koki with me. I'd made it to Colorado and it began raining. It had become dark, and it seemed all the drivers just fell in love with their brakes! We were on the north side of Denver and I was really tired, so to keep myself awake and alert, I began singing Bali Hai. Can you imagine the look I got from Koki?! LOL!
Take care and God Bless!

I was under the weather last week and so I am just now catching up on what I missed.
I grew up just south of the Seattle area, we moved to Ca. in 1996. I guess Colorado natives are not used to the rain...

Thanks so much for linking this post to my Pinning & Singing Party! I haven't heard this song for a very long time so it was fun to hear it again. I'm glad Koki was there to keep you calm in the storm as well!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
